Peng Yi, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Liaoning Province, Xiao Xingzhi, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, Song Yongchen, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Dalian University of Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Relevant principals and experts from the Research Institute of Science and Technology, the Department of Transport Engineering and Mechanics, the Department of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, the School of Chemical Engineering, the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Microelectronics and other units of Dalian University of Technology, as well as representatives of relevant local and municipal bureaus of industry and information technology and enterprises in the province attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Tan Shaopeng, Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
Song Yongchen said that Dalian University of Technology has always insisted on rooting in and serving Liaoning, constantly exploring and innovating the mode of industry university research cooperation, and devoted itself to the construction of regional innovation system, achieving fruitful results. The school will continue to rely on the school enterprise cooperation committee and substantive industry university research alliance, actively integrate into the construction of Liaoning's scientific and technological innovation system, promote deep industrial integration, and contribute great engineering wisdom and strength to the revitalization of Liaoning's old industrial base.
Peng Yi stated that the School Enterprise Committee is the longest lasting, largest, and most effective cooperation platform for government, industry, academia, and research between schools and enterprises in the province. Since its establishment, it has implemented more than 4000 cooperation projects, creating economic benefits of tens of billions of yuan for enterprises. The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology will give full play to the guiding role of policy funds, build the school enterprise cooperation of Dalian University of Technology into a replicable and promotable platform for collaborative innovation of industry, university and research, and make greater contributions to the upgrading of Liaoning's scientific and technological innovation industry and talent cultivation.
Xiao Xingzhi said that the current economic development of Liaoning has entered the "New normal", and it is urgent to speed up scientific and technological innovation and enhance the core competitiveness of the industry. The Provincial Department of Education will continue to strengthen its efforts in scientific and technological innovation, encourage higher education institutions to participate in the construction of local innovation systems, serve local economic development, continuously improve the level of industry technology, and contribute to the revitalization of Liaoning's economy.
At the meeting, Dalian University of Technology signed cooperation and development project agreements with Dandong Aolong Ray Instrument Group, Shenyang Turbine Machinery Co., Ltd., Angang Steel Co., Ltd., and Liaoning Chunguang Pharmaceutical Equipment Co., Ltd., and announced the joint construction of Shenyang Jinjiuqi Catalytic Technology Center with Jinjiuqi Technology Co., Ltd.
The meeting announced that 13 enterprises, including Liaoning Chunguang Pharmaceutical Equipment Co., Ltd., have been approved to join the school enterprise cooperation committee after independent application by the enterprise and research decision by the committee.
Zhao Meisen, Vice President of the Institute of Science and Technology, summarized the work of the School Enterprise Cooperation Committee in 2021, systematically sorting out the achievements of government industry university research cooperation achieved by the School Enterprise Cooperation Committee in serving the "four aspects". Professor Liang Hongwei from the School of Microelectronics of Dalian University of Technology was invited to give a keynote report entitled "The Third Generation Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Systems", to analyze and introduce research achievements, technology applications and future development directions in related fields.
After the meeting, the participants of Dalian University of Technology were divided into three groups: electronic information group, advanced manufacturing group and energy conservation and environmental protection group.
